On the final day of the half-term we held some very special celebrations in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The festivities began with a delicious outdoor picnic prepared by our fantastic School Caterers, Holroyd Howe, who spoilt us with some very special cakes!
Once everyone had eaten, it was then time to welcome our guest of honour – her Majesty herself – to join in with the fun.
Following a costume parade, we all went down to the school field where we made the most of the beautiful sunshine and enjoyed a range of games and activities including a bouncy castle, hook a duck, a cake sale and welly throwing.
The afternoon was made even more special when we welcomed parents to school to share in the celebrations! A fantastic afternoon was had by all.
